Why Google it when you have AI?

In a (non-technical & community) group I am in it was asked did anyone know someone who or how they could get to build a web app.

Of course there was the mix of responses and even the knee jerk “Just Google it!”.

Some of us tech people tried to ask questions and it soon became apparent – and there is nothing wrong with it – but the author was not technically minded at all.

I though it might be helpful to as some basic leading questions and even what questions they might want to ask……

It’s also important to look at their experience in developing software in PHP, as well as their customer service and support.

It’s also good to deal with a local developer because they will be more familiar with the local market and can provide better support.

The best PHP frameworks to use are Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, and Zend Framework. As for payment, it depends on the agreement between you and the company. Some companies may require upfront payment while others may allow payment during development.

How does a non-technical person interact with a PHP software developer to design a system? When the developer delivers the software how do I know it works the way that it should? Whose fault is it if it does not work as I would like it? When do I know it is ready for release?

The questions in bold I wrote into an AI bot (https://beta.openai.com/) I would agree that I have used some technical terms like “PHP” but given it is one of the most poplar development languages out there it is valid.

The answers were all written by AI. So not only did I not even answer a single question I hardly even typed this blog post! That right there is a production use of AI that cost me a few cents and minutes of my time. The good news is that you can do it too!
